Description

In celebration of Noel Coward. Presented by noted for music.

A sparkling revue of Coward’s best work as an actor, director, playwright and (of course) songwriter including the most famous silly, romantic, outrageous and glibly cynical songs that made his name. From the same fabulous team that brought you Choice Grenfell earlier in 2022! What's not to like!

“He wrote in with style, sang with style, painted with style and even smoked a cigarette with style... that belonged exclusively to him”
Richard Rodgers

A beautifully paced review not only featuring the words and music of an English icon, Sir Noel Coward, but the best parts of his plays too...Private Lives, Blithe Spirit and even  Brief Encounter. Great songs including Mad Dogs and Englishmen, I’ll See You Again, The Stately Homes of England, I went to A Marvellous Party and many more are accompanied by an insight into what made this genius tick, from one of the UK’s most accomplished and knowledgeable performers of his work. Enjoy an evening of wit, sophistication and talent starring Andrew D. Brewis as Noel Coward and Suzy Walters as Gertrude Lawrence.

“The wit and wisdom of Noel Coward’s lyrics will be as lively and contemporary in 100years’ time as they are today.”
Sir Tim Rice

Please note that West Street car park will be unavailable for parking on this evening, 4 May.  There are a number of alternative car parks in close proximity to the venue.  More details here.
