Born in Sardinia, Italy, Daniele Piroddi is a classical guitarist whose interpretation of the repertoire seamlessly blends tradition with innovation.
Daniele honed his craft under the guidance of Maestro Andrea Dieci, completing his Master’s Degree at Modena’s Conservatory with the highest honours - 110 cum Laude and Special Mention. Further studies at the School of Early Music in Venice and Giulio Regondi’s Academy in Milan shaped his artistic focus, grounding him in the rich heritage of classical and early music traditions.
In recent years, living in London, Daniele’s musical exploration has centred on the expressive potential of the classical guitar. From its vast palette of timbres and colours to its intricate techniques, the guitar serves as the heart of his artistry. His approach breathes new life into traditional repertoire while embracing contemporary works, creating a bridge between the origins of music and modern innovation.
This passion for exploration extends to his work as an educator.
In 2023/24, Daniele self-published his first book, Guitar Fundamentals, aimed at young beginners. The book introduces advanced guitar techniques through an innovative, language-free methodology, making music accessible to learners of all backgrounds.
Daniele’s work is a testament to his dedication to expanding the boundaries of classical guitar, blending tradition with a vision for the future. Whether on stage or in the classroom, his artistry inspires a deeper connection to music’s timeless power.
