Cafe Culture
We are delighted to welcome Phil Smith who will be talking about
a ground breaking arts initiative that is taking shape in
Andover.
With funding from the Arts Council the scheme will be known as
"Urban Fallow" and is being lead by the Solent Centre for
Architecture and Design.
The project is site specific and will focus on a dedicated space
of land near to Andover's town centre that has been set aside for
development, naturally lending itself for artistic interpretation
and cultural intervention.
Other towns involved in the scheme are Basingstoke, Eastleigh
and Winchester and the talk will give an update on progress and how
to get involved.
