The Lights Education and Outreach Programme
The Lights is committed to providing an Education and Outreach
programme, through a range of activities, supported by Test Valley
Borough Council and Hampshire County Council.
Overall Aims of the Core programme include:
- to provide a regular weekly core participatory programme for
children, young people and adults in the performing arts.
- to provide summer schools and holiday programmes for children
and young people
Overall aim of the Creative Development programme
include:
- to provide creative opportunities for children, young people
and adults to meet and work with artists of all kinds
Overall aims of the Education programme
include:
- to deliver a specific programme targetting schools and further
education establishments.
- to provide a volunteer scheme for young people and adults to
develop skills in all aspects of theatre and performing arts
Overall aim of the Outreach Programme
- to provide key education and outreach projects to encourage
self-esteem, self-expression, build confidence and improve
literacy.
